I haven't been able to post on the blog due to technical difficulties. But i think there shouldn't be a problem anymore. So i will be catching up and posting what i couldn't post before.
My understanding of food justice is having the choice to eat healthy or not. And factors that drive food to injustice is the all the fast food restaurants. Fast food is everywhere and it tastes better than healthy food. That is why people prefer it than organic or healthy food. People rather eat fast food then go home and cook.
Can nature be therapeutic? i believe it can be. Being surrounded by trees, hearing the wind blow and leaves move can be soothing. Just being in that type of environment can calm a person down. You can actually hear what you're thinking in your head. You can meditate to yourself because of the quietness that surrounds you.
Richard Louv coined the term "nature deficit disorder". And no it is not an actual disorder. It means that children these days are spending less and less time outside compared to the children in the past decades.
Ways that the natural world has had a positive response in life is that it has helped me be more calm. Being around natures soothes and calms me down. It allows me to meditate on myself. When I'm surrounded by nature, i have time to think a lot. I can see the areas i want to improve on. I'm also able to relax . I'm able to do things i wouldn't be able to do in places that are not surrounded much by nature.
